Overview
A versatile plant, flax fibers can be spun into twine, and the seeds can be eaten for a small quantity of calories.
Obtaining
Farming
Flax Plant is grown from planting flax seeds in soil.
These plants are also found growing naturally in the wild
Usage
Food
When gathering flax it will drop 1 flax seed and sapiens can eat them to reduce hunger (2-5 seeds to fully feed sapien)
Sapiens hunger will start to rise again relatively soon after eating flax seeds
Wouldn't recommend using flax seeds as a main source of food, unless you have a very large farm of flax plants.
Crafting
When wet flax is harvested it is brought to a storage area where it will dry and turn into Dry Flax and then dry flax can be crafted in twine.
